How to Volunteer

There are many activities that take place on Works Sunday (or in the days before) that need volunteers to make them happen. From carpenters and cooks to collectors and sorters, whatever your talent, you can put it to good use this day.

Simply click on the links below to review the activities available and decide which interests you and fits your schedule. Unless otherwise indicated, all activities take place on Sunday, August 19.  If you need more details in order to decide, contact any of the Co-Chairs for that opportunity. Once you've chosen the activity, to volunteer you can simply click on the Volunteer link, call one of the Co-Chairs or sign up at your place of worship.

Can children and teens help?

Teens are welcome at all activities. However, if you are a teen coming without your parents, we need to have a signed permission form for you. See the Forms page for the form you can download and print. Bring this to the event on Works Sunday.

Younger children are also welcome with their parents.
